Welcome to Sit With Us!

Sit With Us is a social networking app that was created with the aim of promoting kindness and inclusion within schools. The app provides kids with the ability to coordinate lunch plans with their friends and also offers them the opportunity to become Ambassadors for their schools, where they can organize open lunch events that are inclusive to all. The objective is to ensure that no child ever feels alone during lunchtime.

This remarkable app was designed by a 16-year-old girl who personally experienced severe bullying and the isolation that comes with eating lunch alone. Her goal was to create a solution that would make sure no child ever feels like they have nowhere to go. Thus, the development of Sit With Us, an app that not only fosters a warmer and more welcoming community but also provides an excellent opportunity for making new friends.

To get started, you can sign in to the app using either your email or Facebook account. Once you're logged in, you'll be able to connect with fellow students by entering your school name and address. The app offers a variety of features, including:

 <li>Create a personal profile, highlighting your interests</li>
 <li>Add friends and create a "favorite" list</li>
 <li>Search for nearby lunches</li>
 <li>Add a lunch and invite your friends to join</li>
 <li>Choose to become a Sit With Us Ambassador for your school and take the Ambassador's pledge. Visit our website for more details on starting an Ambassador's Club.</li>
 <li>As an Ambassador, host open lunches periodically for anyone to join</li>
 <li>Send messages to your friends individually or create group chats</li>
 <li>See your upcoming and past lunch plans</li>
 <li>Stay up-to-date with notifications for lunch requests and friend requests</li>
 <li>Access your message center to see your entire chat history</li>
 <li>Earn points for various actions such as posting lunch plans, approving requests, adding friends, and checking in at lunches</li>
